Summer 2022 Locations and Hours

The Mitchell and Gilmore Fine Arts COVID-19 testing locations will remain open this summer. The last day for the SC Johnson testing location will be Friday, June 3.

Summer hours for Mitchell and Gilmore Fine Arts will start on Monday, June 13. 9 am - 6 pm with a one-hour closure from noon to 1 pm.

RUSD COVID-19 School-Based Testing Program

Racine Unified School District is participating in the federally-funded COVID-19 testing program for K-12 schools to add another layer of protection for our students, staff and families (age 3 and up), identify cases early and prevent the spread of COVID-19. This is optional and your child will only be tested if parent/guardian consent has been given. Testing is available for any students, staff or community member. 

Testing Locations - Facemasks are required at all testing locations.
Gilmore Fine Arts (2330 Northwestern Ave.) ENTRANCE MAP
Enter door 10
9 a.m. – 3 p.m. and 4 – 6 p.m.

Mitchell K-8 School (2701 Drexel Ave.) ENTRANCE MAP
Enter door 8
This entrance has stairs and is not ADA accessible. 

9 a.m. – 3 p.m. and 4 – 6 p.m.

No appointments are necessary, but please register online in advance

*Please contact your school nurse if you are unable to get to one of these sites and are seeking a COVID test. Students may receive a COVID test at any community testing site or healthcare provider as well.

How to register for COVID testing

Anyone (age 3 and up) who would like to be tested will need to register online through the Track by Novir digital system and complete a one-time consent form.

Register yourself first, as the parent (head of household), then add your child (member of household). 

As we continue to work together to ensure all students, staff and families remain safe, healthy and in school, please continue to follow proper safety protocol including wearing facemasks properly while in our school buildings, social distancing when possible and regular handwashing. Additionally, remember to utilize the Daily Self-Screening Tools for students and staff before coming to school.
