The Planetarium serves as a resource to RUSD students and teachers as well as community members. It's used to provide the most current trends in astronomy and space exploration to the District's students.
All RUSD students are brought to the Planetarium in third and fifth grades, but it is used by classrooms District wide.
The Planetarium is located in the southeastern corner of Gifford Elementary School, 8332 Northwestern Ave.
The Planetarium at Gifford Elementary School will be holding a series of evening programs that are open to the public. All programs are from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. Reservations are requested.
