A 2011 graduate of Horlick High School has been recognized as Enlisted Aide of the Year for the US Army. Staff Sergeant Taylor Strack serves in the US Army and is currently stationed in Italy. 

As an enlisted aide, Staff Sgt. Strack works behind the scenes to support a general officer. His duties include, but are not limited to, household management, conducting official social functions, uniform maintenance and assembly, accounting and financial administration, menu and meal preparation, schedule maintenance, safety management and even basic bartending. 

Staff Sgt. Stack was presented as Enlisted Aide of Year during an awards ceremony in Washington, D.C. November 18.
