Family Engagement
Our early learning programs at BEE Center focus on building positive relationships with families because we believe parents are their child's first and most important teachers. BEE staff want parents to feel welcome at the BEEC and to be actively involved in their child's education through events and activities at the school, conferences, field trips and more. Please know, our district can provide translation services if needed for meetings and calls.

Ways parents can be involved:
Attending parent/teacher conferences and other meetings
Attending BEEC school events and parent nights
Reading and responding to school newsletters, notes and other communications
Making sure child is in attendance regularly and on time
Making sure child has adequate sleep
Reading to or with the child on a nightly basis or as often as possible
Joining Title I District Advisory Council, attending Title I Local Annual Review, attending parent/teacher conferences
Ways school will help support parents:
Provide positive and safe learning environment
Treat students and parents with respect
Regular communications about what’s happening at BEEC
Prompt notifications regarding issues and/or positive feedback
Share appropriate materials and suggestions for learning at home
Provide a challenging curriculum for each child
Individual data being shared at Parent Conferences
