International Baccalaureate
RUSD is one of only four districts in the state of Wisconsin to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme at all three grade bands – elementary, middle and high school. IB programmes offer internationally-minded education that helps students develop the intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills to live, learn and work in a rapidly globalizing world.
Becoming an authorized IB Organization takes years of dedicated reform and reflection to meet the high standards of IB practices. Case High School became an authorized IB Diploma Programme in 1978, an authorized Career-related Programme in 2017.
J.I. Case High School is currently a Candidate School for the Middle Years Programme. We are actively pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that J.I. Case High School believes it is important for our students.
Vision:" Case High School nurtures students’ learning, leadership, and passion through rigorous IB courses and relevant career pathways."
Mission: "At Case High School we believe that all students can be successful when given rigorous, relevant learning opportunities. By connecting the Academies of Racine to the philosophy of the International Baccalaureate, our students will graduate prepared for real world challenges. The aim of all of the IB programs is to inspire students to become active, compassionate, lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right."
