Mental Health Services
RUSD has implemented School-based Mental Health Clinics at nine RUSD buildings to better meet the mental health needs of our students. As we continue to develop our program, we are announcing that three of our School-based Mental Health Clinics will be available to all K-12 students who live within the Racine Unified School District boundary area.
Please see the information below for how to make an appointment at our School-based Mental Health Clinics (for students that attend that school) or for our three Community Mental Health Clinics (for all K-12 students in the RUSD Boundary Area).
School-Based Mental Health Clinics (RUSD students)
RUSD has partnered with local organizations to address issues surrounding Children’s Mental Health through a collaborative convened by The Johnson Foundation. Through the work of the Racine Collaborative for Children's Mental Health, we have launched and grown this program at nine of our RUSD school locations.
These clinics work with RUSD students, their parents, family members and other people important to them to teach valuable mental health skills that will benefit their relationship to their child in the future.
Contact your school's social worker to get started.
