School Safety

Your child's safety is our top priority.

At the Racine Unified School District (RUSD), we are committed to providing a safe and secure learning environment for all students and staff because we understand that feeling safe is essential for academic success. We take our responsibility to protect our school community very seriously.

RUSD takes a layered approach to safety to ensure the well-being of everyone in our schools. Report a Safety Concern

We encourage all students to come to a trusted adult if they have a school safety concern, but there is also a statewide school safety reporting system they can contact anonymously. It's calls SPEAK UP, SPEAK OUT (SUSO) and is available 24/7. Reports can be submitted in the SUSO app, online through this form or by calling 1-800-MY-SUSO-1.
