Summer School 2022
Summer School 2022 registration will be open through May 31.
What does Summer School 2022 look like?
RUSD 4K-8 Summer School programs improve students’ foundational skills and expand their knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
RUSD High School summer program is credit-recovery based. This means that students who were unable to complete coursework (failed, did not attend) are able to recover those credits by re-taking the course during the summer.
If you are interested in learning more about RUSD protocols and procedures related to COVID-19 precautions, please visit our Smart Start website for more information.
Technology
RUSD is a 1-to-1 District. This means that each student will have technology throughout the school year and summer. Students attending Summer School will use technology devices during the day for learning in a variety of classes. Students who will be attending RUSD Summer School from outside of the District (not currently an RUSD student) will be issued a technology device prior to the first day of Summer School.
Summer School Schedule
Summer School will run June 20 - July 28, 2022.
Mondays - Thursdays. Please see the 4K-8 and High School pages for times.
NO SCHOOL Monday, July 4 and Tuesday, July 5.
Please know that any student who misses more than four unexcused days of Summer School will be dropped from the Summer School program.
Excused absences will be allowed.
