Where did life lead you after high school?
After graduating from William Horlick High School, I started attending Gateway Technical College for Aeronautical Science (pilot training).
What are you doing now?
In addition to going to school, I hold a position at DeltaHawk Engines as their calibration coordinator.
What are your plans for the future?
Once I graduate from Gateway, I plan to continue my studies at UW-Oshkosh, working toward a bachelor's degree in aeronautics management.
How did your high school experience help prepare you for your future?
In the Aviation Pathway, my instructors (James Bucholtz and Robby Collum) provided us the opportunity to learn about the different aspects of the aviation industry. Whether that be field trips to an airport to see how the ground crew handle their day-to-day jobs on the airfield, or to learn from private pilots, who sometimes fly for celebrities and/or different sports teams. I landed my job at DeltaHawk through the aviation pathway and am glad to be a part of their team.
