Speech, theater and drama are offered at many different levels throughout the Racine Unified School District. Many of our elementary schools offer drama and musical productions as after school activities.
In middle school we offer opportunities to take speech and drama in the seventh and eighth grade years. Many middle schools also offer classes in musical theater and theatrical production.
RUSD high schools offer classes in acting, media production, stagecraft and higher levels of theater production and performance. Major Broadway musicals are performed by high school students every year in their respective schools along with multiple drama productions throughout the year.
We also have musical theater productions during the summer at the middle school and high school levels.
