Strategies to support these students:

  • Cultural Liaison positions will be created at all nine dual language schools.
  • Literacy and math support will be incorporated into Dual Language family engagement activities.
  • Literacy training for all special education teachers to support specialized instruction in literacy, from diagnosing to identifying appropriate instructional strategies and supports.
  • Masks and PPE provided for students and staff to safely return to in-person learning.

  • Technology to ensure all students have access to the internet during virtual learning.
