School-Based Mental Health

RUSD has partnered with local organizations to address issues surrounding Children’s Mental Health through a collaborative convened by The Johnson Foundation.

Through the work of the Racine Collaborative for Children’s Mental Health, we have launched seven school-based mental health clinics at the BEE Center, Mitchell K-8, Fratt, Julian Thomas, Knapp, S.C. Johnson and Wadewitz Elementary Schools as well as a community clinic serving all K-12 families in Racine at the Community Pathways Campus (2333 Northwestern Ave.). We hope to add more school-based mental health clinics.
