P-COC (3-Year-Olds)

The P-COC (Parent-Child Oriented Classroom) program for three-year-olds is located at Bull Early Education Center and at the RUSD Montessori Building.

The P-COC program offers a unique opportunity for parents to work with their children in the classroom as parents (or an adult) attend class with their child once a week. The classroom, divided into several learning stations and centers, allows each parent and child to explore a variety of learning experiences at the child’s level of ability. Children advance at their own pace, while parents gain an understanding of their child’s development. The program is provided at no cost to residents with a home address within the RUSD attendance area. The District does not provide transportation for P-COC students.

Age Requirement

Children who are three years old by or before Sept. 1 of the current school year are eligible to enroll.

Children attend school during either the morning or afternoon session. They attend Monday through Thursday and the first Friday of most months of the school year. Parents are required to attend school with their child for one classroom session per week.

There are three important steps to enroll and select a school or program for your child.

Step 1: Enroll

Enroll your child in the District (enrollment is now open) online or in person at the RUSD Welcome Center, 3109 Mt. Pleasant St. The Welcome Center is open M-F, 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Step 2: Submit Forms

Bring your child’s birth certificate, proof of address and immunization record to the RUSD Welcome Center. There, you will receive your Infinite Campus activation code. You will need this code in order to select a school or program for your child.

Step 3: Select School

Select your school or program online or at your nearest school.  You may also visit the RUSD Welcome Center from 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
