The purpose of Evidence-Based Grading is to promote a growth mindset amongst students as learners who reflect on and reevaluate their learning. In addition, the goal of EBG is to ensure that a student’s final grade fully communicates their learning over specific skills/standards.   • Beginning with the 23-24 school year, all Middle school courses will use an evidence-based grading system.
