This past May, Racine County elected officials launched the Violent Crime Reduction Initiative, a collaboration across the City of Racine, Racine County, and Racine Unified School District to address the recent spike in violent gun crime.
Mayor Cory Mason, County Executive Jonathan Delagrave, and Racine Unified Superintendent Dr. Eric Gallien held a community meeting on October 12 to share information about the state of community safety as well as investments made to better engage, serve and build safer communities in Racine.
