A youth apprenticeship isn't the typical movie theater or dishwashing gig many people had in high school. It's a job that actually give students real world experience, and that's not all.

At the event, students and families will learn about some of the opportunities a Youth Apprenticeship can offer, including:
- Industry Certification Issued from the State of Wisconsin
- Employability Certification from the Department of Public Instruction
- Credits Towards High School Graduation
- Possible Release Time
- Future Employment Opportunities
You'll hear from the Academies of Racine's Workplace Learning Coordinators and a current Youth Apprentice. You can also learn about other upcoming workshops where Workplace Learning Coordinators will help students with resume writing, job searches, professional skills and mock interviews.
