Gilmore Peer Mediation

placeholder

Peer Mediation is a group of fourth and fifth grade students who help their peers manage conflict resolution. They are nominated and recognized as students who demonstrate the ability to solve conflicts.

During the summer, these students participate in a week-long training to provide them with tools to further their conflict resolution skills. In mid-October, these students are sworn in at the Racine County Courthouse. These student peer mediators have helped establish positive relationships with students across all grade levels and serve as ambassadors for Gilmore Fine Arts and RUSD.
