Grading at Gateway

Gateway Grading Practices

Due to students being dual-enrolled and therefore considered college students, grading for Gateway courses works differently from your traditional high school courses.  While the grades for classes taught at REAL are maintained through Infinite Campus and regularly updated, grading for Gateway goes through BlackBoard.  BlackBoard is the learning management system (LMS) that students will use to find assignments, grades and other important information.  Only the STUDENT has the login information for their BlackBoard account.  It cannot be accessed independently by REAL School teachers or administration.  Grades for Gateway courses will be updated in Infinite Campus at mid-terms as well as at the end of the course.  For more proactive updates, we encourage you to sit down with your student regularly and look at their BlackBoard with them.
