The R.E.A.L. School Enrollment

placeholder

As a choice school, students must apply to attend The R.E.A.L. School and be selected through the lottery process.

This process normally starts for families entering 6th grade in December or January. At that time, families will be asked to attend an orientation to better understand the school and the application process. Families will then submit their application and be notified if their student has been selected to attend The R.E.A.L. School.

Orientations will be held at the REAL School.  Attending an orientation is required for the lottery.  Current 5th grade students must also participate in a 1/2 day shadow experience.  Families may sign up for the shadow day experience after the orientation.  We will not sign up students before orientation or without documented attendance at an orientation.

Current students in grades 6th through 11th will not be required to attend an orientation to be eligible for the lottery, but it is highly recommended.  If openings become available in one of these grades and a student's name is up on the waiting list the student will then have the option of attending a shadow day in advance of enrolling, but will be required to attend an individual orientation and tour prior to accepting enrollment.
