Roosevelt Elementary School is a positive learning community where every student and staff member strives to become collaboratively focused on maximum student academic, social and emotional growth in order to meet the RUSD North Star goals. Roosevelt is a neighborhood school with a lot of heart.
At Roosevelt, our mascot is the Rider. A "Rider" is respectful, responsible, safe and we reach our academic standards as we "Reach for the Stars and Dream Big"! This year we are working on living our lives at Roosevelt the "Rider Way" with our PBIS school wide system. Each morning, we will commit ourselves to being the best we can be and developing habits that will make us successful in our lives as learners.
As our school song states, "We are the best kids in the best school in town!"
The Wisconsin RtI Center has recognized our school in Roosevelt at the Bronze level for our work toward fully implementing a system that leads to improved student outcomes. This equitable system helps increase consistency of instruction, enhances staff skills, proactively provides supports for all learners, and builds stronger relationships.
