Roosevelt's student council is a group of 4th and 5th grade students who work to promote school spirit and encourage community outreach.
The council works in partnership with local organizations to help the Racine community and the world.
It has raised money to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
That money goes to help children around the country get treatment.
The student council also hosts an annual food drive to collect food to the local Food Bank each year around the holidays.
