Roosevelt Title I

placeholder

Roosevelt Elementary is a Title I school. Title I is a federal program that provides funds to school districts and schools with high numbers or percentages of children who are economically disadvantaged.

Title I supports a variety of services and is designed to ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach, at minimum, proficiency on challenging state academic achievement standards and assessments.

Roosevelt's Title I teacher, Ms. Berkley, is a certified reading teacher. Students who would benefit from additional academic support receive Title I intervention services. Title I groups consist of six or fewer students in grades K-5. Our support occurs both as a "pull out" and "push in" classroom support model.
