Lunch Periods and Food Deliveries
Students are not allowed to have Door Dash, Grub Hub, or other food deliveries during school.
LUNCH - FRESHMEN
Our campus is closed for all freshmen (3-2 lunch is for Freshmen ONLY). This means Freshmen students must stay in the building from when they arrive in the morning until the end of the school day. Freshmen ARE NOT allowed to leave campus for lunch.
LUNCH - SOPHOMORES, JUNIORS, & SENIORS
Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors are entitled to off campus lunch privileges. Any student leaving for lunch must be back on time for the start of their next class. Students who chose to leave for lunch will not be allowed back into the building until the end of their lunch period.
Students who choose to have lunch in the cafeteria must remain in the cafeteria until the end of the lunch period. They may not eat lunch in the cafeteria and then leave after. Also, food may not be taken out of the cafeteria.
Those who choose to leave and return late will be subject to hall sweeps, and/or other tardy/truancy discipline procedures
With the exception of a parent/guardian dropping off a bag lunch, students are not allowed to have food delivered during the school day (Door Dash, Grub Hub, etc...) and should not have fast food dropped off.
The school cafeteria offers many choices each day for students to choose from.

Dietary Needs
If your child has special dietary needs and has a current medical statement completed by a physician on file with our food service office, please email dietitian@rusd.org to request meals for your child. This request should include the name and student ID# for this child, the location, day(s) and time you would like to pick up meals. Advance notice is requested to allow for the preparation of the special meals.
