Gifford Planetarium


The Planetarium inside Gifford Elementary serves as a resource to RUSD students and teachers as well as community members. It's used to provide the most current trends in astronomy and space exploration to the District's students.

All RUSD students are brought to the Planetarium in third and sixth grades, but it is used by classrooms District-wide.

Evening Programs

The Planetarium at Gifford School holds evening programs open to the public. Programs feature a Full Dome Video Program followed by a presentation of the current night sky.  All programs are from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The programs are free, but reservations are required.
